Like I mentioned in my Underrated Bands Part II post, this piece came out late in 2021 and is a really solid piece of work. Before the full LP was released, the title track came out as a single and had me instantly hooked because of the relentless beat. A certain bass player I met opening with his other project for Crowbar back in 2015 played the low end on this one but the solid part is the thick sound, the variety of styles, the vocal range and style on display. Shit, they even put in some great harmonies for good measure if you can find them! Halfway down the album they dare to slow it down a bit … just to put the throttle down again.

Be it as it may, I just got in touch with their drummer Freddie and asked him about their influences. His answer: pretty much anything that is heavy. They plan to play a lot of shows asap once the covid restrictions finally disappear and also work on more new music. All their songs come straight from jamming and everyone in the band has other projects going on, which is pretty common in LA.
Can’t wait to share more news and possible show dates. Here is another video for you.
